Having a family is taken for granted by most people. It is a correct assuption as it is rather common to have one. Unfortunately, many looses their family under different circumstances and some families are not always necessary so good for you.

I appreciate very much my family. My parents are very young and healthy and my son is growing up to be strong and handsome here in Åsa , Norway. The rest of my family can be found around the world; in the US, Australia, Germany and all over Norway of course.

It is rather in spite of than because of the family I became an astrophysicist and globetrotter. However, my love of nature, in particular the mountains, is definitely a result of my upbringing.

To please your curiousity I present to you some of my family members.

This is my dear son, Eilev (2007). 

He works out, works and goes to school, probably in that order! 

Eilev  has a website but I do not think he updates it very often. He prefers social networking on the internet right now. More pictures of Eilev .

We enjoy the outdoors a lot. Here is a picture from when Eilev really appreciated hiking and playing with his mother. That has all changed, of course.
