About Lilja

Lilja is a website where you can find information about the Earth. The Earth is a big topic. Lilja will publish articles mainly on earth observation and topics like climate change, geohazards and water cycle. 

You'll find information about the Earth based on the latest scientific results and often with an angle that differ from the mainstream, yet not too controversal. Links to other sources of information about the Earth and short fact sheets will be gradually developed here.

Most of the writing will be in English, but a blog about Åsa , the beautiful countryside where I live with my family, is written in Norwegian.

Who is Bente Lilja Bye?

I am an expert on Earth sciences and astrophysics, a science strategist as well as an international leader. My home is in Norway but I travel around the world both professionally and for more private reasons. You'll find more detailed information in my Biography.
